The family trees presented were intended at the very beginning to present the branches of our paternal and maternal sides, to me and my wife Simone. In fact, they are only three since we have a grandfather in common.
Then, to be able to explore further in time, it was our eldest son Pierre-Yves who became the "root" person, following the conventions, to be sure to be able to collect all the genes of all possible ancestors.
We thus have seven branches, like the candlesticks, the "imitations of the archetypal celestial sphere" (thank you Wikipedia).
And then, as and when alerts were sent by Mrs. and Mr. Geneanet, alerts verified by the readings of documents digitized by the Mormons in the Departmental Archives of France, at Bouzereau, David, Domergue, Luquin, Morellon, came add Bigarel, Buan, Duranton, Fournier, Gomé, Niquet, Pécheux, Pied, etc... And then we also added people who were not strictly ancestors but who were very close to parents or ancestors.
When we could, we have added photos to the ancestor files, but of course it couldn't be before the middle of the 19th century. Instead, we have posted a photo of a monument in the city of birth and, for people born before first of January, 1793, a photo of the church in the city of birth. Indeed, all the important ceremonies in the life of the ancestors before this date, the rites of passage, are punctuated by this "common house".
We have taken advantage of the work already carried out by Daniel Bouzereau, Jean-Charles Galès, Patrick Grimont and Elisabeth Tresgots, whom we greatly thank, as well as all those of the participants in Geneanet, with whom we often exchange informations.
In the Geneanet application, for "Internet users" who use the services of Mrs. and Mrs. Google and who come across people listed in these trees, only those over 100 years old will be fully visible (photos, if any, dates of birth and death, etc ...). For the others no photos or dates, only the name and the family links.
Systematically, we have put, when we could, the links to the Departmental Archives.
